Strong Kids Campaign
The Strong Kids Campaign raises funds for children facing difficult circumstances due to poverty, illness or separation from a parent or primary caregiver. Children come from all walks of life and each has unique stories and needs. The YMCA gives thousands of these children safe, fun, and enriching programs in a positive and supportive environment near their homes. Your support of the Strong Kids Campaign makes this possible at little or no cost according to the needs of each child. Please help build more strong kids and strong communities by giving generously.
Acknowledgement and recognition are made for gifts large and small. Those able to give $1,000 or more are provided special recognition as members of the Chairman’s Round Table.
Strong Communities Capital Campaign
High quality facilities are essential to high quality programs and services in our YMCA communities. Capital development funds enable the YMCA to expand to serve more families and individuals through the modernization of existing facilities or the building of new ones. In the Philadelphia Association, facility modernization and growth are two of our highest priorities.
Our current campaigns include the building of a new Ambler Area YMCA in Lower Gwynedd, Pa and the modernization of facilities at the Columbia North and Northeast Philadelphia branches. Capital gifts can be directed to the location of your choice or to support the Capital Campaign on behalf of all the branches. Numerous naming opportunities are available. Please call the YMCA Association office at (215) 963-3705 (Carol Newburger, Campaign Director) for additional information.
