Preschool Camp
Camp Small Feet (Age 3 - 5)
This camp will focus on age appropriate activities designed just for preschoolers. Activities will include daily swimming, arts and crafts, story time, sports, music, tumbling, indoor and outdoor activities, nature appreciation, nap time, snacks and so much more! All of our activities are centered around weekly camp themes. Due to transportation laws, this age group is not permitted on school buses and will not be able to go on field trips. Instead, there are planned weekly special guests or events incorporated in the schedule. We will top off the week with an all camp "Fun Friday" event. *Campers must be fully toilet trained.

Y Day Camp
This traditional day camp provides a variety of age appropriate activities according to the age group. The camper’s day will rotate through counselor lead activities such as swimming, dance, arts and crafts, sports, nature appreciation, indoor and outdoor activities and so much more. Each week of camp is centered around a different camp theme. Campers in these groups will head out on
weekly field trips. We will top off the week with an all camp fun Friday event.

Teen Camps
Camp Trailblazers (Age 13 -16)
Each week is something different for teens. Trailblazers camp has specific weekly themes. Choose your activities for this week and make it the best week of the summer! Extreme sports- nontraditional sports such as ultimate Frisbee, rugby, tennis, lacrosse, ropes course, etc. Fitness -yoga, punk rope, cardiovascular fitness, Pilates, strength training etc. Survivor- participate in themed activities in order to NOT get kicked off of the “island”. Guard Start-Junior Lifeguarding, helping with camp swims, etc. Go-Green- Learn the fun way to take care of the environment, conservation and service projects presented this week.

Leader in Training ~ LIT (Age 13-16)
LITs are the leaders in camp. This camp is for those who might be interested in working with children in a camp setting. They will be trained on leadership skills, conflict resolution, working with children, team building, program/activity planning, health and safety, scheduling and will have a chance to assist as a counselor aide. They will contribute to the organization of all camp "Fun Friday" events. Daily journals will be conducted on the activities and experiences they learn. LITs will also participate in regular camp activities such as swimming, crafts and trips.
*PREREQUISITES: Two letters of recommendation, a positive attitude, leadership abilities, willingness to work in a group setting and an enthusiasm for working with younger children. Letters of recommendation are required before enrollment.

Sports Camp
Ages 7-12
Sports camp is designed to give children the opportunity to learn basic skills in a variety of sports. Each week a different sport is highlighted and campers work on skills, drills, rules and fundamentals of that particular sport. Sports camplers will also participate in regular camp activities such as swimming, crafts, nature and field trips. Campers will be divided into two age levels: 7-9 and 10-12 year olds. At the end of the week both groups will participate in a sports camp large group activity.

Special Needs Camp (Camp Magic)
Ages 5-20
Camp Magic holds the philosophy that special needs children should have the same opportunities to participate in the same type of activities as other camplers. This camp offers positive integration with all of the YMCA campers when possible. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, cooking, and so much more. Camp Magic campers will also go on field trips each week. Campers must be amulatory and able to function on a 1:4 staff/camper ratio in a group setting. Campers will top off the week with our all camp "Fun Friday" event.

Specialty Camps
Cheerleading Camp (Age 7-12)
This special week of camp is designed to help campers learn a variety of cheers, proper stuntes, jump techniques, and tumbling. Staff leading this program have experience in cheerleading and will provide a quality experience. The week will end with a special all camp performance.
Guard Start Camp (Age 10-15)
This week is for those who have a desire to someday become a certified Lifeguard. Each camper will aquire skills in leadership, swimming rescues, and drowning prevention.
*PREREQUISITE: Strong swimming ability; Front crawl one length fo the pool with good form and breathing, tread water for 1 minute and swim underwater 10ft.

B-Fit Camp (Age 7-12)
This specialty camp offers a variety of fun cardiovascular, flexibility and strength related activities designed to enhance a child's total wellness. Our YMCA fitness staff will engage these campers in yoga, punk rope, fitness, strength training, Pilates, nutrition and healthy eating/snacks.

Dance Camp (Age 7-12)
During this week campers will be exposed to a variety of dance classes. YMCA staff will work with all levels of dance. Classes offered in hip hop, ballet, and jazz. The week will end with a special all camp performance.

Extended Care for All Camps (Age 3-15)
For the convenience of our parents whose children are attending an all –day camp, before and after care is available from 7:00 AM -9:00 AM and after camp care is available from 4:00 PM -6:00 PM for $44. Campers will have supervised time until parents can pick them up.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance is available for qualifying individuals and families. The assistance is made possible by the generous support of individuals, companies and foundations who contribute to the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign. Financial Assistance can be used for any YMCA program or membership.
If you need help with payment of any portion of Summer Camp fees, please contact the Welcome Center at 215-482-3900 to request Financial Assistance application. Financial Assistance is awarded on a first come first serve basis. All applications must be submitted by March 31, 2010
Deposits of $35 per child per week are required to process all registrations. These deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. Deposits are applied towards balances due for all weekly fees. Completed payment is due two weeks before that camp week starts.
